- Part I -
Name: Akasha Govad
Race: High Elf/Human
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Basic Appearance: You cannot help but notice Akasha. Standing at 5 feet, 11 inches, Akasha is hardly a giant or a midget. He loves that he is eyelevel with most of the people he deals with: it puts his best physical feature to work. His luminous red eyes captivate people: they are a side affect of continuous Techne Wave use in targeting when he was a Fighter Pilot Trainee. He also has a dragon tattoo along his neck: the head sits under his left eye. His messy hair is dark black naturally, but is dyed in whatever color and put in whatever style fits his mood.
Typical Outfit: Akasha wears a metal studded leather collar and several necklaces of varying lengths and angles. He typically wears a sleeveless shirt of black leather and a pair of low ridding black pants. When he's feeling particularity cold, which is odd for the hot natured boy, he will don a tanned leather coat with fluff fringe. He also has a pair of goggles that almost never leave the top of his head.
Personality: Akasha is brash. Everything he does is larger than life. Nothing can be too big or too flashy for the young man. He is always alert, always moving. This is one of the reasons why he does not like port. He has a caring side, but this is usually hidden behind his flippant demeanor and cavalier attitude.
Likes: Machines, the open sky, the open sea, rum, wind, currents, sailing songs.
Dislikes: Port, confined spaces, restrictive agencies and taxes, oppressive governments, airship laws.

Weapons (if applicable): A Machine Cultist, Akasha uses a variety of unconventional weapons. His favorite is the Bowless Repeater. A weapon resembling a crossbow without the bow, the Repeater is a metal construction
that utilizes magnetic polarities along the and a bit of wind magic at the base of the barrel behind the projectile to launch projectiles. He also has the assortment of knives and a cutlass stored on board. He claims that no one can be a pirate without a cutlass. He has never unsheathed the blade.
Special Skills (if applicable): He is a Machine Cultist and has the ability to imbue magic and mechanical properties into his inventions. He cannot magically create weapons like an alchemist can, but he can build them. He is also a fair blacksmith and an excellent sailor.
Job/Class (if applicable): Pirate Captain
Family History (if applicable): His family was a group of sailors and Merchants from Piscesula, specifically the town of Huurmoya Quinghema. Akasha has always been around ships and loves the mechanics of the vessels and existing on one of the floating or flying monstrosities. His family was destroyed by tariffs imposed by Solea on all trade. It drove his father to suicide when he was five. His mother raised him on the silk farm the family retained after battling the Solean courts. She is the only living member of his family left and is a high elf by birth. It is through her that he learned the limited wind magic he knows today.
General Biography: After leaving Piscesula at the age of 12, Akasha moved to Fasemoor and enrolled in the Royal Academy of Machinists. He was quickly recognized as an adept sailor: he was excellent at knots, had some control over wind magic, and cursed vehemently.
However, his problem with authority upset many within the Admiralty. He was expelled from the academy at age 19 for improper relations with a Commanding Officer and for blackmailing many of the upper staff members. He was also running a small smuggling operation from his dorm on campus. He promptly moved out of La’To and down to Basth’Li, a large ship building city on the southern edge of the island.
After about a year, Akasha made his move. He broke into the ship dry docks, using the market showroom entrance. Quickly selecting a shiny and glimmering airship, he knocked out the guards, fueled up the craft, threw her Alchemy Furnace into overdrive, and rocketed out of Basth’Li. Once clear of the Fasemoor defense towers, he raised a pirate flag and christened his ship The Slanted Truth.

The Slanted Truth is actually the Sol Bianca from an anime of the same name.
NOTE: It is important to note that the airship Akasha stole can also be a regular sailing ship in water.
