- Part I -
Name: Keiani
Race: Er Rit
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Basic Appearance: He's an albino, with the white hair and fur that could be expected to go with that, though it takes on the color of the light shining onto it fairly easily. His eyes are strange, the right one a brilliant gold, and the left a pale silver, with gold only one the very edges. While it looks quite pretty, the silver is actually because of an injury to his eye when he was small, blinding him on that side, he has barely any sight in his remaining eye, which doesn't help matters. He's about an small to average height, and his generally slim build and long hair tend to make him look rather girlish when combined with that. His fur is longer than that of a normal Er Rit, and he keeps both it and his hair as well groomed as possible, mostly because he has been told by many that any dirt shows in the white and worries that because of his sight he'll miss some.
Typical Outfit: At the moment a school uniform, though generally just anything that looks like it might match and he can throw on, usually long sleeved shirts and loose pants. And his glasses are always perched on his nose.
Personality: Keiani tends to keep to himself, prefering to hide from other people when at all possible. He isn't scared of them, but instead is fiercely independant, mostly because he spent all of his childhood being literally led around by the hand. Once they found someone capable of making glasses strong enough for him to see more he gained a little bit more self-dependance, but still has to be helped with many things. He's the type of person that would have retreated into books, except that reading is hard enough on his eyes that it gives him a headache, so instead he retreats into his own mind, either sneaking off outdoors to try and make sense of what little he can see or simply laying somewhere, unmoving for hours and creating stories in his mind, since he can see those at least clearly. Someone attempting to help him is more likely to be snubbed, even if it's help he desperately needs, and to those that don't know how bad his eyesight is (which is many, since he refuses to actually tell people, mostly out of pride) he comes off as rather stuck up and mean, which is a slippery slope since being treated as such just makes him stubbornly bitter and more determined not to have anything to do with anyone. As another side affect of his sight, he's essentially blind in dim light or darker, and easily terrified since he can't see what's going on around him.
Likes: Silence, colorful or easily seen things, lights
Dislikes: Darkness, helpful people, other people in general.

Weapons (if applicable): None.
Special Skills (if applicable): He has highly developed hearing and smell, and if he ever took the time to notice would realize that he actually was fairly attuned to how things vibrated, enough that if he tried to learn he would be able to judge them by that.
Job/Class (if applicable): Student
General Biography: He's been mostly sheltered, after an accident left him almost completely blind. Once it was clear that he could see vague shapes and colors out of one eye he was if anything even more coddled than before as people tried to teach him to recognize things from what little he could make out. Due to his pale skin and general inability to find his way around, he was never allowed outside without someone standing right besides him, and often closely watched while inside. His family was fairly wealthy, enough that they were able to afford the glasses that give him more autonomy, though his sight is still very blurry, but because of that he never really made any real friends, apart from his siblings, whom he's inordinately close to.
Over the years he more and more resented the help that people attempted to give him, learning to struggle through on his own, mostly learning his lessons by listening intently to what the teachers said, as even with his glasses he can't see the chalkboard, and becoming to prideful to actually tell anyone about the trouble, since everytime he did they would suddenly coddle him to the extreme. After he alienated most of the other children one way or another, (in some cases with help from his siblings) his parents came to the decision that he would maybe be happier outside of his hometown, so sent him away to school, much to his annoyance making sure to tell the headmaster about his disability. Since his sister had bent sent off the year before and thus far hadn't killed anyone, they figured it would be good for the triplets to be separated for awhile.
