My back hits the wall with a thud and I blush like mad.
Is he... coming on to me or something? But he's a guy! And I'm a guy!
Akasha puts his hand on my knee and leans in. Unerringly, my eyes return to gaze at his, mesmerized by their hue.
Akasha's voice has gotten a little more gruff as he says, "You will only come to me for blood... am I clear?"
I nod quickly. "I... I can do that. What do you want me to do?"
I pause. I think he is coming on to me! Is stuff like that really possible?!
Trying to think of a way to divert the man's attention, I glance over the room, and my eyes alight on the map drawer. "I-I can read all kinds of weird languages. I can tell you what that map says... I bet there's loads of treasure in a city like that..."
I return my attention to look at Akasha, and I realize he's leaned in even closer to me. Seeing him from this close, I now see just how red his eyes really are.
As red as blood...
My tongue unconsciously licks my lips and I shiver.

Akasha saw the boy's tongue flash across his lips. He had ignored the the little stammers and blushes: they were cute. He had even ignored the boy scooting up. The map was also an obvious attempt at a distraction. He smiled lightly and stroked the boy's cheek lightly.
"We'll worry about the map when we've reached Xheqa," he whispered. He smiled softly and leaned back, yanking the dagger with him before settling against the headboard of his bed. "Do you know why I'm a bit harder on you than the other crew?" he asked softly. He motioned the boy over before looking down. He slowly began to carve on his skin. It was a basic pattern he learned in school, designed for use by soldiers in the field: it allowed his skin the wound to heal whenever any magic was applied to the rune.
"It's because I care about you," the captain said blankly, a soft smile on his face. "You're a kid...and I understand that. But that doesn't mean I don't have a few...feelings floatin about...you understand?" He looked up at smiled at Hauke.
"Now come and drink before this gets on the bedspread..." he said lightly, holding up his arm with the blood welling up quickly.

He cares about me?
"I'm not that much of a kid! I- I've kissed people b'fore..." My voice trails off as my eyes catch sight of the knife's point tracing red lines across Akasha's wrist.
He's... he's actually gonna...?!
The pirate captain is sitting in such a way that I'll have to lean over his body a little to reach his wrist. I bite my lip a little and glance up at Akasha through my hair. He just smirks and looks to the blood that's starting to slowly run down his wrist.
Wait, he said he didn't want it on the bed...
I glance at him one more time, nervously, and lean over. As soon as my lips touch his wrist, my whole body relaxes. After trying to wait so long since last time I drank, it tastes nothing short of ambrosial.
After a moment, I sit back and lick my lips lazily. My eyes are glazed a little from the ecstatic feeling. For all that I've practically starved myself for two weeks, I only took as much as one would for a simple transfusion. Without realizing what I'm doing, I lean on Akasha with my eyes closed, smiling.

Akasha smiled and placed a finger onto the wound: a spark of blue magic and the wound began to heal. He really did love that rune. Five quick lines in the proper order and proper sequence and any minor wound could be healed.
"Good I take it?" he whispers lightly, wrapping his arm around the boy. "Hauke..." He paused and looked thoughtful. He was attracted to the boy. He figured it was his mother's influence. A woman that was practically obsessed with fate and lei line astrology, she had always said he would find himself attracted to other species. And he had. He remembered a particularly vivacious love affair with an Er Pri in school...
But that was neither here nor there. He sighed to himself and kissed the boy's temple lightly.
"Hauke...go get your belongings..." he whispered lightly.

He wants me to get my things? Why? Is he gonna kick me off after all?
Something in my face betrays my thoughts to Akasha. He frowns a little, then leans over and kisses me. My mind becomes more frazzled for a moment as my face turns beet red again.
He k-kissed me. He's a guy!
"Um... Where do ya want me to.. to take my stuff?"
He smiles and points a finger down. "Right here!"
"Oh... O-ok!" I move to scramble out of the bed, using one of his knees as support and walk quickly to the door. Pausing with a hand on the door, I wipe at my mouth to make sure no blood is left and glance back at Akasha. He just sits there and smiles, his hands clasped in his lap.
Blushing once more, I open the door and slip out, shutting it softly behind me. Nobody seems to notice me at first, so I walk quickly to the stairs that lead below-deck and down into the room where I've been sleeping.
I don't have all that much, really. Just the knapsack that I was carrying when I stowed away on the Slanted Truth. Inside, it holds two sketchbooks (one half filled, the other blank), some pencils and an eraser. I wanted ink, when I'd left the hotel... but I was afraid it'd spill. There's also some paper cranes that one of the Truth's mates taught me to make. Other than that... not much else. My knives I carry on me.
I gather my bag up and walk out into the hall. Turning around after shutting the door, I freeze. There's a Rempa blocking the stairs.
"Um... excuse me?" I move to try and squeeze past him, and he swings his arm at me. I reflexively pull my arms up to block, but the bag I'm holding slows me down and I get clipped in the jaw. I slam into the wall and slide to the ground as the Rempa stalks down the hall and enters the galley. I stare after him, bewildered, as I pick myself and my bag off the floor.
"What the jince was that all about?"
I rub my jaw as I walk out onto the deck. From the tenderness, I'm sure there's a nasty bruise developing. This time, some of the crew members notice me, and where I'm headed. One of them snickers as I pass; I tense my shoulders and walk more quickly to Akasha's door.
I open it and slip inside again, relaxing when I enter the cool, relatively dim interior.
Still rubbing at my bruising jaw, I walk over to where Akasha sits, and look around for a place to put my bag.

Akasha smiled lightly and walked over, leaning down to kiss the boy softly again. He took the boy's rucksack and set it lightly on the table. He frowned and turned back to Hauke, eying the boy. He noticed the tension in the boy's eyes and shoulders.
"What happened?" the captain said lightly, eyes flashing darkly. He crossed the room in two strides and tipped the boy's chin into the light. I scowl and look at the light bruise beginning to form and, more importantly, the scratch marks from claws. "Thaen..." the captain whispered lightly and shook his head. "He never will get over it...will he?" he murmured, more to himself than Hauke.
He pulled the boy over towards the bed and sat down, pulling Hauke into his lap. He slowly began to kiss along the boy's jaw, nipping lightly at the tender flesh. "Do you want me to heal your jaw?" he asked softly, running his hands slowly across the boy's back.

I cringe as Akasha approaches me, anger in his eyes, and grabs my chin.
By the time I can think of something to say, he's dragged me over to the bed and into his lap. He immediately starts to kiss my face and I wince away as the bruise throbs.
"Ummm... If it's not too much trouble, Cap'n. I don't much like having huge bruises..."
What happened between Cap'n and that Rempa? And what do I have to do with it?
I shiver from Akasha's touch on my back, but at the same time relish the feeling. Trying to hide my nervousness, I tug at one of Akasha's hands and start playing with his long fingers.

Meanwhile somewhere in the wilderness of Pesso...[/b]
Aik paused as she walked, her eyes having happened to flicker up at just the right moment. She didn't say anything at first, mostly because she currently had her two blue hairsticks stuck in her mouth while she twisted and looped her hair back up to the point that it would once again be in a rather haphazard bun. Damn Den and his ability to amusement himself easily... Well, not really damn him, and she supposed it was better if he could keep himself happy with little things like that... But really did he have to mess with her hair.
A few moments later, hair safely back up and mouth free of hair implements, she glanced over to the white dragon who was currently glaring impatiently at her. "I think we're a tiny bit off course."
Tuyet tossed her head, white scales glimmering, snapping "Why would you say that? We're heading in the right direction."
In answer the blue winged girl lazily looped out a hand, pointing towards the jut of large rocks that she could see through the trees, "Because something of the exact description is currently off to the side."
"You don't know that there can't be more of them."
"Oh do you two always have to argue?" Den asked, making both girls turn and look a little bit guilty... mostly because he looked so exasperated with them. He paused for a moment, dragging the toe of his sandal through the leaves before glancing between them, "Why don't we just fly up? It's not like there are tons of people around to see up here."
A moment later all three were in the air, Aik and Tuyet making it a rather futile contest, since racing each other just mean waiting for Den more, and the boy really didn't care... But at least it also meant that a moment later Tuyet was landing lightly in the middle of the rocks (ignoring the fact that Aik had been proven correct as to their slight miscalculation in direction), the two sprites fluttering down with less of a grand entrance behind her as she glanced around for this contact that she was supposed to meet. Supposedly this person would be leading her to wherever it was she needed to go. Figures that it would be another dragon being lazy that would actually get her to do this sort of thing, though she supposed that she wouldn't have had any way of getting in contact with the people to lead her there otherwise... Whatever, for this she was willing to go through and get the stupid hunk of glass.

A gust of wind whirled upon the grass field where the myrmidon stood and brought the long wide sleeves of his black-white tigerprint robe to flutter in the air. The myrmidon's ruby eyes were only half opened, but their snake-like pupils still thinned at the piercing sunlight. It was bright out here, and it made the young man uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable did not mean much at the moment, though.
The devilsbride was there to fulfill his orders.
He had worn his uniform --- his usual black clothes topped with the tigerprint yukata. This was not an undercover mission. He would have them know that a member of his organization is here. Beneath his locks of violet hair and hidden under the shadows of white bandages, his devilish eyes darted back and forth. He was scanning for a dragon... A white one.
He walked slowly through the land, grass and rocks treated lightly beneath his feet. Coming before a lone flower in the sea of green, he paused. He had a sudden urge to shred and dice the flower into tiny pieces, but his body didn't move. The myrmidon concluded that he was too lazy, then rolled eyes at himself.
"Lucky you," the man mumbled softly to the flower and lifted his foot to walk again --- only to land the same foot on the flower, not so lightly as he would have when walking normally. The frail flower was bent and smothered under his shoes. Expressionless, he continued to walked forward, leaving the bending flower to lay and die beneath the green waves.
He continued to walk and glance around until he came to be a short distance away from their agreed meeting place. The myrmidon could well see the white dragon perching upon a boulder, and two flutter sprites accompanied her.
His ruby eyes stopped darting around and fixed his stare upon the trio. Having found his mission objects, he walked directly towards them. Once he was some feet away from the boulders he halted; he was still far from them but the distance seemed natural to him. And it was safe... For himself and for the trio.
"Tuyet the Dragon," he shouted the white dragon's name over the wind and distance with his deep, numbing voice. "I am De. I come to lead you to your destination."

Three sets of eyes whipped around in the direction the voice was coming from, Den wacking his sister on the arm as she snickered and muttered under her breath, "No shit she's a dragon. What else might she be? An oversized gecko?"
Neither Den nor Tuyet bothered to answer her (at least not past Den's hit, though that had been moving more in anticipation than answer. Sometimes he thought he knew his twin a bit too well), Den edging closer to the dragon and peering around her at the man.
Any attempts on the boys part to hide behind her were foiled as the dragon snaked off of the boulder, lessening the distance between her and this strange new man enough that neither of them would have to yell. She still kept the distance though; actually being near and allied to hominids other than the twins was something she wasn't used to at all. "Nice to meet you." She said, voice a soft purr as she arched her long neck and looked over the man. "How far is this place we're heading towards anyway?"
From behind her the two sprites slid off of the rock... Or more Aik jumped, and her grip on her brother's resisting wrist caused them both to slide off. It worked though, more or less. Shaking dust off of her wings, she released Den's hand, letting him hang back and view the scene from afar as she edged up so she was at the dragons shoulder, staring with curious blue eyes at the man. Den would have scolded her for being rude, but he wasn't close enough.
As it was all her presence did to Tuyet was to make the dragon swish her tail at the blue sprite, adding belatedly, "This is Aik, the red one is Den. They're coming too."

De stood still as the trio approached. He observed them for a splitsecond before replying to Tuyet's introduction of the two sprites. Their large open wings seemed fragile to him, and because of that particular quality the colours burned into his mind. He didn't feel disturbed by their presence, but he wondered if he should kill the two flutter sprites first just to make things simpler.
His orders did not include anything about Den or Aik. They did not interest De... Not in a good way, at least.
So why not kill them?
You... Pay attention to what normal people would do.
But...
"Understood." He bowed his head softly, his eyelids drooping with the movement then raised again as he stood back up straight. De eyed the two sprites lazily with his crimson snake eyes, a particular darkness looming behind them. He turned back to Tuyet. "On wings you will get there in a few hours, although as your guide I cannot fly. It would take a bit longer that way."
De prepared to turn around and begin to depart for their destination. The blue and red burned brightly at the back of his mind, playing against each other like an old film. Pieces of black flickered onto them in an attempt to assassinate the skipping colours. He wanted to growl, but his throat did not budge. It was quite a war to be felt by oneself --- but it did not take more than a few seconds before numbness took over De and killed his leftover emotions.

Akasha laughs lightly and looks down at his hand that is laced with Hauke's. He braces the boy in his lap. "This may hurt a bit..."
Pulling a long thin needle from his pocket, he held the boy close and slowly began to cut the five lined rune into the boy's cheek. He saw the boy wince and squirm and tears well up in his eyes. He kissed the tears away gently, clenching the boy's hand as he made the last cut. With a small spark of blue magic, the wound and bruise began to heal.
"Shhh....shhhh.." he whispered softly, pulling the boy close and rubbing his back slowly. He choked down his own discomfort at hurting the young boy and kissed Hauke's cheek softly.
"Do you want to show me the map?" he asked quietly, nuzzling against the young man's neck.

I touch my cheek gingerly and sniff. It doesn't hurt anymore!
"Huh?" I squirm a little and try not shiver in reaction. "O-oh yeah! The map!" I clamber out of Akasha's lap and tug on the hand that I still hold until he gets up to follow.
Bending down, I use my free hand to open the correct drawer and pull the map into the light. I point to the large letters embellished on the top of the page. "That says Collosae. Or at least... that's as best I can pronounce it." I trace the outer of four walls, stopping at place where the line jumps and rest my finger on the words next to it. "The Gate of Wind..." I circle inward, stopping a quarter of the way at a break in the second wall. "Gate of Wood..." The third, "Gate Fire... and Gate of Metal."
I pause and look up at Akasha, puzzled. "Why do ya think they'd need four gates? They're already on an island... wouldn'a that be enough protection?"
I sit back with light thump, scooting back until I'm resting against Akasha's legs. I distractedly run my fingers across Akasha's palm as I gaze at the map in front of us.

Aik was coming to the conclusion that their 'guide' was rather creepy. Creepy in a not so nice way, not creepy in a Den way. Den was only really creepy when it was almost completely dark out and he was reduced to a pair of embers staring out... that had almost scared her once. Not again afterwards, but it was rather odd. This person was just... well she was getting the feeling that even without the red she'd be creeped out.
She liked his hair though.
From behind her Den shifted a little uncomfortably, having already come to the same conclusion that Aik had, even though he wasn't close enough to see the man's eye color. He supposed he had to give the benefit of the doubt though. If anyone had to give the benefit of the doubt for this sort of thing, it was him. Still didn't stop him from being wary... but life had taught him that was generally a better idea. Instead he stood there, wings slowly moving as he watched his sisters interact with the person... though there didn't seem to be much of that.
"She can always carry you." Aik pointed out, resting one hand on a hip as she appraised the person, "You aren't that big, and she's stronger than she looks."
Tuyet glared at her, snorting a bit of smoke at the sprite, somewhat incensed when the girl just kept grinning and waved it away, apparently satisfied to have one-uped the dragon in this round. God damnit that was two in a row for Aik now. Growling softly under her breath -- she moved forwards, tail lashing around to whip under the girl's feet, sending her crashing to her rear. She could hear Den saying something in the background -- and knew that the red sprite probably had his face buried in his hands by this point -- but ignored it, mood significantly better than it had been moments before as she said brightly, "Yeah I can, those two can fly faster than you'd expect from a couple of oversized butterflies, so they shouldn't slow things down much."
She wouldn't have said the butterfly comment if Den could have heard her... but the glare she got out of it from Aik was great.

The myrmidon paused for a bit, considering the new option. He found himself in full awareness that his life would achieve complete vulnerability once he was in the air. But something was missing... And he did not or could not feel a need to reject this suggestion. He stared blankly at the white dragon, relieved, for a wholly different reason than any of the trio could suspect.
De was numb, and Tuyet was his object of mission. Everything was fine. Everything was in place. There was no struggle --- he wouldn't let there be one. His own life didn't seem much worthier than traquility at the moment.
Without further words De approached Tuyet and let a small smile melt upon his face. Surprisingly, it did not seem strange or out of place on De's features. Rather, his features seemed to change the smile itself --- into an expression with a whole other meaning... Though what it actually meant remained unknown to De himself.
With the support of his hands, De lifted himself up the small dragon's back from her side. He wasn't heavy, and his movements were light. Knowing all that, he did not bother asking if Tuyet was uncomfortable.
Not that he would otherwise, anyway.
De raised an arm and pointed back a bit east of the direction where he came from.
"In that direction."

Tuyet twisted her head, dark eyes following the man as he moved. He had the homonids happy look on his face... but it had the same affect as a horse with it's ears pricked in surprise instead of happiness. There wasn't much difference that she could see... but it was odd. She'd have to ask Den if he could tell her what the difference was later, since it would probably be rude to ask the man herself.
He was surprisingly light, something that relieved the dragon, since she had been braced for quite a bit more weight. A bit more confident -- he couldn't be much more than the sprite twins combined, and she could carry them both easily if she had too -- she twisted her head around towards the direction that he was pointing in. "Alright! If I get off course a bit just yell a landmark for me to aim at. Or have one of the little ones show me the right direction. I won't be able to look back easily while flying and stay steady." She could look back... but she didn't want to risk dumping her wingless guide. Den and Aik could fly if worst came to worse; this person couldn't, and Tuyet wasn't sure enough in her catching skills to have to try.
Wouldn't that just suck if she managed to end this early by dumping De? "You'll probably want to grab onto my spikes while I fly." She added, head twisting around for a moment, the spikes were fairly short, and spaced far enough apart that the man had settled easily between two of them, but hopefully that would help some, "And Den says it's easier for him to stay balanced if he just relaxes and tries to go with how I move. Not sure if it'll work as well for you, but I wouldn't want you to fall."
While Tuyet was thinking things over, Aik had skipped back over towards her brother, her feet barely touching the ground as her blue wings fluttered in the breeze, "He has red eyes too!" She said, grinning at the boy and fluffing his hair. Den brushed her hand away from his head, starting to answer something as a burst of air came from Aik's back and Tuyet took off into the sky, at less of a steep angle than she usually did, probably for the person.
So instead of answering his sister, the boy launched after the dragon, fast enough that he managed to catch the tip of her tail and let that give him momentum as they quickly ascended into the sky, letting go afterwards to ride a bit off to the side, wings flashing in the updrafts caused by the dragon's wings. A moment his sister flashed by, probably wanting to prove that she too could fly quite quickly and easily... but he wasn't worried about that right now. More he was dwelling rather happily over what she had told him. His eyes were natural, so he supposed it made since that someone else had the same color. It had just taken them a long time to meet up with that person.

Akasha chuckled lightly and let the boy play with his hand while looking over the map. The archaic patterns meant nothing to him. He couldn't read a word of the text that was apparent on the faded document. He traced the outskirts of the island. His eyes narrowed and he pulled his hand away from the boy. Reaching down, he pulled the map up and set it on the table before pulling the second map, the large sea and sky chart, from the drawer. He pointed to the circle in the center of the charts.
"This is the same city I believe. You called it Collosae?" he asked blankly. He grunted lightly as Hauke nodded. Pulling a crystal and a roll of parchment from another drawer, he laid the blank parchment over the map and set the crystal in the center. With a pulse of blue energy from Akasha's hand, the crystal expanded, tiny gears and pistons extending the mechanical frame across the paper. As it copied the map, the captain leaned down to help the boy up.
"You should get to bed. Get some rest. I'm going to try and match this chart to the ones I have in the Globe," Akasha mumbled lightly. He smiled and kissed the boy lightly before pushing him backwards onto the bed. "Sleep."
Akasha smiled and grabbed the newly sketched map and walked out of his room. He stalked down the hall, passing by doors and crew members, the parchment spread in front of him. He walked to a metal door and placed his hand on the large orb in the center. Turquoise energy flared around his hand and he watched as it hissed. Inside, several large crystals began to glow, projecting a map into the center of the room. He held up the map, letting the crystal light scan across the parchment. Large sections of map were applied on top of the parchment until one finally matched.
"Ahhh...the Tempest Archipelago in Piscesula..." the captain murmured. He rubbed his temples and motioned to the large floating crystals. "Truth...redirect course. Set along lei-line on direct course for the city of Huurmoya Quinghema. Scrap current plans to head for Xheqa. Alert the crew and lock the wheel. Furnace to maximum boil. Execute."
He sighed lightly and watched as several lines appeared on the glowing crystal map and showed the course of the ship.
"The Tempest Wall. The Tempest Wall. It's always the Tempest Wall..." he whispered.

I huff a little and push my bangs out of my face. Always with the kissing! But... I'm starting to get used to it already. And I'm actually enjoying the sensation a little.
I don't protest as he pushes me into the bed and I curl up, hugging my knees while I watch him walk out the door. I close my eyes and listen to what sounds there are. They're different when flying, and that difference is enough to drive the sleep away from me- just as the rocking and crashing waves once did when the Truth was playing as a water vessel.
No good.
I sigh and sit up in bed, eye my knapsack, and walk over to it. I take out the half used sketchbook and dig around for a pencil. I come up with a couple broken shafts and broken graphite mixed with graphite powder.
"Nyosik!" I look around and huff. No clue where Cap'n puts drawing things...
I clutch the sketchbook to my narrow chest as if it were a shield and walk out of the room. Out on deck, I look around and frown. Where...?
"Lookin' fer the Cap'n?"
I jump and turn around, relaxing when I realize it just the brown-skinned human that had taught me how to make paper cranes. I nod, and he points down the stairs to below-deck.
"Down tha' way. Prolly to the Globe."
Globe??
I blink at the man and bob my head. "T-thanks!" I rush down the stairs, but not so fast I miss the man telling another, "Too bad the Cap'n got him first, I wanted to --" Blushing madly, I practically run down the hall so I don't have to hear the rest. Ahead of me, I see Akasha slowly walk his way into a room with a metal door; his attention of the map of Collosae's island.
Not having breath at the moment to catch his attention, I speed up a little and slip into the room behind him; the door just about clips my heels as it closes by itself. I lean on the door and watch Akasha talking to glowing crystals and a huge map floating in the air.
Akasha takes no notice of me, but that's just as well- I probably look like a fish out of water, the way my mouth is gaping. I grip my sketchbook harder and creep up to the floating map and try to touch it. My eyes widen as my fingers pass through.
"Is this magic, too?"
Without realizing it, I've spoken out loud.

She doesn't want me to fall.
The violet-haired myrmidon complied to the dragon's instructions. He sat himself steady and bent his body against the curve on Tuyet's back, hands wrapping around her white spikes. Softening his muscles he let himself become a backpack for the dragon to carry. De could see the dragon's long, stretched neck ahead of him, and he studied them idly.
For what purpose the studying may be for, he won't remember yet.
Squinting his eyes against the wind, he turned to glance through the curve between Tuyet's neck and wings and watched as the land flew by beneath him. How strange it was, lifting themselves in the air. Even though they were the ones moving, it seemed as if the world was fleeing from them. He gripped tighter onto Tuyet's spines.
It'll hurt...
Surprised, De blinked and stared eyes wide into the sky in front of him. His staring did not last long --- as soon as the wind hit his snake eyes again, the eyelids squinted back. The dark circles underneath were squeezed into the hallows, appearing darker now even in the sunlight. He quickly glance around to see what his thoughts were referring to, then noticed his hands. He blinked a bit more before he loosened his grip again.
Semi-sure that his mind wasn't going to pop again so soon, he retrieved his idle thoughts about the flight and concentrated on his current task to guide the trio to their destination. He watched their course slowly, and realized that the wind was bringing them a bit off course. It probably wasn't a good idea to shout over the wind across the length of Tuyet's neck however, so he decided to turn around to the two sprites behind the dragon.
Only to find two lurid, fluttering flashes of red and blue.
A sharp pain pierced through the devilsbride's head, and he squinted his eyes even more. Managed to surpress a hiss, De looked towards the sister. "More southward," he yelled over the winds, pointing a finger towards the browner patch of the land far ahead.

Akasha whirled on the boy and scowled.
"What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to stay in bed and get some rest?" he growled out, staring down at the boy. No-one was ever allowed down in the Globe. There were two nearly holy places on any ship that was built in Fasemoor: the Alchemists revered the Alchemy Furnace as a source of power and the Technocrats and Machine Cultists viewed the Globe as sacred place.
"Yes. It is magic," he growled darkly. "It's pure Technical magic. The Globe is a map system that is based upon all current information. It can connect with any other airship that is operating a Globe. Ours obviously doesn't without a proxy. It also controls the ship's power and directions. I can pilot the ship from here." He smiled lightly.
"I helped build one of these...a long time ago," he whispered lightly. "Helped develop the Kel Conduit that connects the Alchemy Furnace and the Globe." He chuckled.
"But that is neither here nor there. Why are you here?" he growled out, eyes turning sour again.
