With the rhasto boy strugging in his grasp, Cyan ran with the other human to escape the alleyway. The rain pounded on them from the sky, and their steps pounded on the rain now turning into a shallow pool swirling around their feet.
A muffled poof came to them from the alleyway --- grasping tighter onto Felix, Cyan leapt for a duck, landing on his other arm to avoid having to break the boy's bones with his weight.
As they splashed into the flooding rain, a bright, deafening explosion screamed from the alleyway despite the rain, accompanied by what sounded like a coarse bird shriek. Sparks flew out of the looming flame, trying to pierce their wet clothes.

His breath caught in his throat when he heard the smothered explosion coming from the direction of Gabraeil. He noticed a piercing shriek followed after. His eyes softened some-what and he hid his head, laying it against the stranger's chest and gripped his shirt.
Felix's breath caught in his throat when they suddenly hit the ground, his lithe body fell with a dull thud. He figured the human was hurt too. His grip tightened on the man's shirt, when the spots of light spread across the air, flying towards them. He breathed a sigh in relief, glad his spell had finally worked.
But is Gabraeil finally dead...?

The explosion was causing a commotion in the gambling district. Many humans --- especially men, came running over from all around.
This isn't good.
Cyan easily lifted the boy in his arms and stood up, also motioning for the other traveller to follow. In the midst of rain and flame, they made a run for the inn's door, with the innkeeper now holding the door and shouting for them to get in.
Each step into the splashing pool of rain, each flare of light that burned into the corner of his eyes, the soldier was reminded of something else --- something from his homeland back in Pesso.
Finally, they reached inside the inn, and the innkeeper shut the door. Too tired to complain, the innkeeper sighed while the three soaked travellers flooded the doorstep.
"I sure hope they didn't notice you. I'd be in trouble," the innkeeper frowned, then gave up. "Your horses should be safe. The flood's never gotten to our stables in ten years! Now go change or summthin', you look too pitiful." Casting a last glance at the rhasto boy, he turned to his own room.
Cyan set the boy down and looked towards the other traveller, wondering if he should just head back to his room.

Kloe stood in the doorway, having arrived there just as Cyan came in with Felix. What did I come running for? I'm useless. Ears and tail drooped in disappointment at not being able to do anything for the human. But what could he do, anyway? Cyan looked like he was military or something. He was probably a lot stronger, and smarter, than Kloe.
The h'ortom watched for another few seconds, then slinked back into the hallway. He glanced towards the er lot's door and shook his head to himself. That man made him nervous, and not in a good way. But still, it was better than sleeping in the hallway. Even if he would still likely find himself on the floor. Just minutes after he'd rushed out, Kloe came back inside Danil's room, looking ike someone just stole his favorite candy.

When the dusts of sparks settled down, he was stunned when the human picked him up again. A warm feeling settled in his stomach but his mind was rather bothered. I'm not a girl... While conluding his idea, all three of them finally reached the inn, soaking wet to the bone. He could have recalled the innkeeper saying something about trouble, horses and stables. With the way he felt at the moment, it was rather hard to tell from one thing to another.
"Uh...Horses?" the Rhasto murmured subconsciously.
Then, dark-haired man set him down, the warm feeling he had diddling away. Felix held on to him for another few moments. His body swayed, momentarily, but was finally able to let go. Urgh...Where is that stranger I was with? His mind couldn't help but come back to the beast man he had slept with. "Happens..." He whispered.

The h'ortom left without letting Danil squeeze in a word and he sighed. Ah well, no disappointment. He was used to being.. well rejected, so he didn't mind when Kloe had left. He also already had a lay that night, and that was good enough to fight down his libido.
There wasn't much to do, and the er lot wasn't feeling sleepy anymore. He supposed he'd go to the lobby so see what was-
Kloe stepped back into the room looking sad with droopy ears. Danil frowned and crouched in front of the boy, concerned. "What's going on out there? I heard some noises. Are you okay?" Really. It was hard for the masked boy to feel sorry for anyone. But this little beast man was just to cute to be sad.

Kloe was almost a little surprised to see the er lot acting so nice. He hesitated for a moment, pondering if he should say what was really bothering him. After a second's thought, he decided not to.. he wasn't really sure just why he felt rejected anyway.
"It's nothing," he mumbled. "I'm tired." Great, now I'm acting like a scorned puppy, too, he thought to himself idly. But he actually was feeling tired. The rainstorm outside, coupled with what happened during the day, tired him out. Which was odd, considering he'd been through worse days.

He nodded and patted the boy's head lightly. "Why don't ya crawl into bed now? I'm gonna go check ta see if anah'thing's wrong in the lobby."
He stepped closer to the bed, straightened out the covers and fluffed up the pillows. "Will ya be okay alone?" He felt so stupid for asking. Of course the boy would be fine. He was asleep in the hall by himself. "Ne'er mind. Dun answer that." Danil smiled and winked at the boy.
The er lot swiftly jogged to the door, banged on the doorway announcing he was leaving soon. "I'll be right back!"

Kloe didn't answer verbally, just nodded as Danil left. He glanced between the door and the bed, almost starting to reconsider now. The floor was still an option. But the er lot had been nice to hiim so far. What's wrong with trusting a stranger? You already act like you're best friends with a human you just met anyway.
The h'ortom quickly made his decision, and after discarding his shirt and the small bag that hung from his belt, crawled into bed. He curled up against the wall, thinking it'd be easier for Danil to get in bed beside him that way. Kloe soon fell fast alseep, mouth slightly open, ears and tail twitching now and then from whatever he dreamed about.

Before walking back to the in and take shelter, Eleazar took some time in running back to the stables to get his large brown knapsack from the tall white horse. He brushed her mane and comforted her a bit in the because of the strong rain. After a few moments that he ran to the inn and shielded his belongings from the rain in vain.
The shoes of the three men left a rather noisy squeaky sound on the wooden boards as the walked into the in. All of them were soaked to the bone, but Eleazar was the dirtiest of all, since he was covered in a lot of mud. Eleazar didn't care though, his bright emerald eyes still sparkled even if his whole body was covered in dirt. Brushing his hair to the side of his face he made way to the other man whom he was following all this time.
The inventor turned to the innkeeper and smiled, pointing to the keys on the backshelf of the counter. The man handed it to him and placed it in his hands. Eleazar nodded in thanks.
"Eleazar's the name. Or El. Thanks for..the excitement back there." he chuckled and put his hand forward for Cyan to take.

Standing there, dripping with rainwater with a flush of warmth attacking his skin, Cyan was going a little out of focus. He was in a haze when Eleazar introduced himself, and then he gathered himself up quickly. He took his hand and shook it firmly, saying his name out loud with his unused voice. "Cyan."
The dark haired traveller then undid his cloak, now heavy from the rain, squeezed some water out the door and then folded it up. Inside, his light shirt and sleeveless robe were soaked too; his hair dripped with water, though his expression showed no sign of annoyance as he looked at the rhasto boy questionably, wondering why he wasn't getting a room from the innkeeper as Eleazar did. Finding the boy glancing around the lobby, he turned to look around as well.

A corner of Felix's lip quirked upward, sort of angry....at himself. It was just rain and yet he was so affected by it, his nose was not able to sniff out the man he had been with before. He took a quick look at the man who had rescued him and looked at the innkeeper for a moment then looked outside. He repeated this a few times before giving up.
The rhasto continued to look at Cyan, scrutinizing his features and build and looked him up and down. He seemed soaked as well. Felix sniffed stating the most obvious fact to himself. His dark brown eyes traced the human's full body length and his wet hair, clothes and dripping face. His last meal didn't satisfy him enough however...he wasn't sure if this man would be interested. Timidity and embarassment never crossed his mind before because he always went to bars. Something's different about him... Felix contemplated.
However, an unforeseen quiver spread throughout his body, starting from his shoulders. He looked down at his clothes and his brows immediately creased in spite. Clothes are too much of a hassle. His mouth dropped realizing he had no change of clothes, a chain of curses leaving his lips. He looked up at the human. "Do you by chance have a change of clothes?" the Rhasto asked, gesturing to Cyan's clothes and his own.

The older male was clutching his large backpack in one hand and the other was gripped tightly at Cyan's hand.
"Oh I see, that was your name! Glad to meet you." he said, smiling.
Eleazar turned around and wanted to introduce himself to the other young man but the rhasto's eyes were fixed at Cyan. He glanced back at the younger man and saw what exactly he was looking at. His light colored shirt was sticking to his skin, revealing a glimpse of his toned body. His eyes traveled upward to the man's face, behind the raven hair his sapphire eyes looked so entrancing yet comforting.
Embarrassed a bit by how he was looking at the man he winced a bit when he heard the rhasto talk.
"Do you by chance have a change of clothes?", he asked Cyan.
Eleazar sighed a little, and let his fingers play with the keys the innkeeper had handed to him. He really needed a bath right now.
"Anyway, I'll be going now, I need to take a bath anyhow." he said, giving a teethy grin to the two as he ventured upstairs.

Cyan lifted the leatherskin bag he carried to chest-level and stared at it for a few seconds, trying to remember what was in it. He was sure he had some shirts, enough for the both of them. But trousers....
He stepped closer to the center of the lobby, opened the bag and dug into it. Yes, there are trousers. False alarm.
The dark haired human collected a fresh set of shirt and trousers from the bag and offered it to the rhasto boy. He then pulled up a room key from his pocket and held it in front of the boy's face, while his other hand pointed towards the innkeeper.

The sight in the lobby seemed chaotic. The very sexy human was now VERY VERY sexily wet and dripping. And JINCE how much he wanted to rip off his shirt and lick him dry. He licked his lips, and tried to focus his attention on something a little less... well yea.
Danil finally noticed the Rhasto from before looking distressed and he gulped. He hadn't even noticed the boy was gone from the bedroom when he brought Kloe to his room. He felt something in his stomach turn, his heart dropped, and he bit his lip. He walked up to the two, the human seemed to be busy rummaging through his rut sack for some clothes. The Er lot's ears twitched and he looked at the shaken boy, feeling scared. When he didn't find any visible harm done, a rush of relief washed over him and he hugged the soaking Rhasto.
If the old Danil from a year ago could've seen this sight, he would've lauged at it, commenting how sickeningly mushy this nyosik was. For some reason, Danil was glad he wasn't the same beast man anymore.
"I'm sorry," he whispered.

Felix had his arms crossed, looking at the human search for clothes, a confused look on his face. It seemed as if this man didn't like talking much and it was pretty obvious that the man wasn't mute but...Maybe he's training his senses...
Blinking a few times, he tried to recall the other man's name. He tapped the side of his thigh, remembering somewhere there was an introduction. He turned to the man that was talking to the the dark-haired man, noticing that he was also human. The rhasto's eyebrow curved up wards, noticing him wince somewhat. Interesting... A smirk played his, now, full lips and tried to hold back a quiet laugh.
......Ah! Cyan was it? I need to thank him. However, before he could say anything, the human dangled a key in front of his face. Felix looked up in confusion, his eyes followed the human's finger towards the innkeeper. "Um..Thank y-"
His breath caught in mid-sentence when strong arms wrapped around his skinny body. His mouth opened a little. He could hear his clothes make a funny 'squish' noise and a pleased look claiming his boyish features. Discreetly, he lifted his hand and let his fingers run through the other man's hair. Realizing what he had done and quickly pulled his hand away then coughed. "I-It's okay. So..."
He looked back at Cyan and mouthed an apology and wondered what he should do with the keys and with the beast man that clung to him. It was nice though. It wasn't often anyone treated him that way. But...he didn't seem like someone who would stay with someone long. His expression faltered. "Do you want to go back to the room? I need to change and take a bath too."
......Yeah.

Danil released the boy's skinny frame feeling much better now and he smiled at him, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "Er, sure! But let me take care o' somethin real fast." He turned and grabbed the human's arm with a grin.
"There's a very cute h'ortom in mah room sleepin'. Ah I think he'd appreciate it eef it was you he woke up next to and not me. In other words, mind switching rooms for the night?" The boy winked at the human, hoping that he could bring the two a night of.. fun.
It was a good idea, he thought. Plus he was feeling rather over-protective of the Rhasto right now, as if Felix was actually his mate or something. He couldn't help but mentally chuckle at how ridiculous he was sounding right now. Danil let go of the man's arm and stepped back so he was next to the skinny boy. Lightly, he nuzzled his neck, feeling a bit... excited again.

So the boy has somewhere to sleep, Cyan thought, somewhat ignoring the pheromones in the air and grabbing onto the central fact.
And the beast man's in his room, he says?
With cautiousness in mind, the human motioned for the two to lead him to the room.

Eleazar arrived at his room and threw his heavy knapsack on the bed. The bed made an ominous creaking sound and Eleazar slumped on the nearest wall feeling a bit of fatigue. He then could feel his body weaken, he let out a series of coughs, though not as violent as the ones earlier. He then decided it was best for him to take of these clothes on his back as soon as possible.
"I stink."
He lifted his dark shirt and revealed his skinny but fit body from always carrying heavy equipment. Making way to his large bag he grabbed a small pouch, a dark shirt and some pants and tucked his wet clothes into the side of the bag. He let the dry clothes rest on his shoulders.
The inventor then opened the door to see Cyan, the rhasto and.. a beast man? He then decided to stay out of their business and head straight to the bath. Spotting a worn-out sign that read 'bath' he followed it and came upon a large room that had a hot-spring-like-place and some individual showers on the side. He removed the rest of his clothes and made way to the bath.
Dipping his body into the warm water he let out a moan of satisfaction, "Ahhh.." he smiled, "Nothing like a good bath."

Kloe rolled over in his sleep, waking up abruptly as his face hit the wall. He sat and rubbed his nose annoyedly, glaring at the offending piece of building. Sleeping indoors sure was a nuiscance. But it was too late to turn back now. He blinked a few times and yawned, wondering why he was feeling so warm.
Shifting a bit, the reason became obvious enough. With a slight frown, he kicked the blanket off himself and curled up again on the bed. Why did people use those flaps of cloth, anyway? Kloe never quite understood that. Yes, even as a child he always preferred free air instead of a warming blanket. Because as a child, he always had his brother around.
Curling up further, Kloe closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep again. Innocently wishing there was someone there to keep him company.
