Somewhat relieved that the horse ride was over, the h'ortom glanced around briefly, emerald eyes taking in the city. He sighed to himself. Passing through a city was one thing, now he had to spend the night in one? No, he didn't really have to, but... It would be quite silly of him to just leave now that his human had been kind enough to give him a ride. Besides, the storm was likely to strike before he could find some suitable cave or anything to hide in.
Realizing that Cyan was likely waiting for him to move off the horse, his ears twitched and he smiled nervously, taking the offered hand and half-slid down from the horse. However, an unused rider didn't take well to his first gallop, and Kloe quickly found that he was having trouble keeping his balance. And his backside hurt from sitting on the horse.
Back on solid ground, he swayed slightly and instinctively grabbed Cyan's arm to keep from falling over.

Somewhat prepared for a little mishap, the cloaked human caught Kloe firmly in a half-embrace. Slowly standing up, he then steadied the beast man on the ground, careful to make sure he wasn't too dizzy from the ride.
Once he made sure Kloe was standing still enough to not hurt himself, he made his movements in an obvious manner, trying to communicate something. He patted the horse and smiled at the beast man, gesturing at the door of the inn. He would have to get his black friend into a stall first, and he probably wasn't the best guy to ask the innkeeper.

Is he really a mute? Kloe thought to himself, ears still down, and he still kind of clung to Cyan's arm. The h'ortom glanced to the horse, then to the rider, and then towards the inn. Is he trying to have me go to the Inn by myself? Or is he looking for the stables? I don't understand...
Ears drooped, tail hung low, and wearing an expression of both slight confusion and uncertainty, he looked to Cyan again. He's the human here! Isn't he supposed to handle these things? Jince.. That's when lightning struck, soon followed by a rumbling thunder. Kloe really didn't like this. The ground didn't feel right, he wanted grass below his feet. The rain was getting heavier, and the human still didn't speak...

Eleazar watched as the gates opened then closed behind the first travelers, Mindy quickly galloped in front of the gate to the sentries. The two guards frowned a little upon seeing this newcomer, mainly because he had so much things on his back.
"Oh you guys, don't worry!" he motioned towards the other travelers who were slowly galloping away, "I'm with them!"
The two men looked at each other then eyed Eleazar suspiciously.
"Then why didn't he say so himself?" one remarked, "Yeah, and why is he leaving you here?" the other said
"Well you see..." his voice trailed away, in his head he was forming some sort of story, "You see, they were mad at me because I brought a lot of goods to sell and they didn't!" he then reached in his huge knapsack and pulled out long cane and fixed into the cane, a metal cover of some sort. The men thought it was a weapon and drew out their weapons towards the traveler.
"Oh no, gentlemen. This is my invention!" Eleazar put it over his head so that the rain would not reach him.
"It's a drumella!" Eleazar exclaimed, "Made with tin drums, it's for rainy days like this if you want to stay dry!" he then handed it to the guards.
The guards held the contraption and just stared at it with a quizzical look on their faces.
"Now, newfound friends, would you please direct me to the inn?"
Still with a confused place they started opening the gates and motioned to Eleazar to go straight ahead.
"Thank you!", by now the rain had become stronger, and he really had to find a place to sleep. He started towards the wet pathway and passed a few houses, and at long last he found the inn. Again he saw the man he had seen earlier, seemingly embracing...a woman? The image was a bit unclear because of the rainfall.
He then decided to interrupt the romantic couple for a bit to ask where they would put their horse, because he himself had no idea.
"You couple over there! Yoo hoo!"

Kloe didn't seem to understand the man's gestures. A hand still clinging onto the human's arm, it wasn't hard to tell that he was troubled by his expression.
The human reached out his hand to pat the head of what he thought was an er pat, and let his hand remain.
What's wrong? He looked at the face of the withdrawn beast man. It was then he heard the rider upon the white mare calling over to him in a rather energetic fashion. He recognized the white horse but not its owner, and nodded a formal greeting to them both.

He... patted me on the head? Kloe grew just a bit more confused by this. Argh, this is so annoying... Kloe's ears twitched in frustration, seemingly unable to communicate with the human. Of all people, he had to tag along with a mute? And the rain was starting to get to him rather quickly. Normally he loved rain but the prospect of a storm wasn't all that appealing.
That's when someone called out to them. Kloe hadn't been looking when they rode past the other one. Still, the person seemed to be talking to them. Perhaps he could help? Kloe's ear perked and he peered through the rain towards the one approaching on a white horse.
What the stranger had thought was a woman, was actually a young beast man, clinging to the human's arm with a sort of exasperated expression. His ears drooped again as the other rider neared, disliking the rain but hoping that the stranger would be able to understand his mute friend.

Getting closer to these two new strangers, Mindy let out a sound of dissaproval.
"Now, now Mindy.. They look friendly.", now Eleazar could see the two figures more clearly through the rainfall.
His eyes adjusted to the dark and aided with the light from the inn nearby he made out a figure of a beast man and a human. Eleazar was delighted to see that it wasn't anything scary or aggressive so he waved his hand again to these people.
"Hey, oh. A beast man and a human! an unusual pair!" he then slipped off his white horse and ran his fingers though it's mane. Leaving the knapsack on Mindy, he held her head close to him.
"Do you know where the stable is? I'm having a bit of trouble here." seeing that the beast-man was clinging to the human protectively and the human's hand on the er pat he concluded that this, in fact was a couple.
"I won't disrupt your honeymoon or whatever" he smiled "Soooo..." he looked at the human with dark hair and blue eyes, waiting for a response.

Self-paced as Cyan is, he smiled serenely in response. The smile looked more like a greeting than a confirmation to the traveller's words, but confusing nonetheless. The soldier didn't care; he was immune to misunderstandings since he uttered the first word after his birth.
He motioned for the white mare's rider to follow his hand, which then pointed to the sign of the inn. He then patted his horse with his other hand, now making it obvious that he was looking for a stable as well.
Unloading his leatherskin bag from the horse, he patted the beast man's head again, making sure he was alright.

So... we're a couple now? Kloe thought confusedly. Humans sure are strange. He glanced to Cyan, who was undoubtedly communicating with the other human his own way. Not that he wasn't good-looking, but... Kloe just hadn't thought about those kinds of things while growing up. People always assumed he liked someone just because they were close.
.. Was that it? Because he held on to Cyan's arm? Yeah, that's it. That other human thought they were together, because he hadn't let go yet. The h'ortom was just about to speak his objection when the rider patted him on the head again. What's with the patting, anyway? Does he really.. well, he was awfully quick to offer a ride to a stranger...
A faint blush formed on his cheeks at the thought, and he quickly swiped Cyan's hand from his head. "Wait a minute! We can't be together, I don't even know your name yet!" he blurted suddenly, letting go of Cyan's arm without thinking. That turned out to be a bad idea, since he immediately lost his balance and fell on his butt. "... jince..."

Danil felt sticky and sweaty and completely satisfied. He grinned and patted himself on the chest a bit for such a great conquer, though it did come with a little pain. The Er Lot touched the bite mark on his neck and ran a hand down his face. That was definitely not going to fade anytime soon.
He looked over at the skinny Rhasto who was sleeping on his side and was curled up next to Danil. He pouted a bit, "Ah, only aff'ter two rounds and e's already asleep! Pity."
He mussed his head a bit more before he decided it was time for a nice long bath. Slowly, he rolled out of bed and pulled the covers around Felix before grabbing his trousers and a towel and heading towards the lobby to ask where the bath house was.

Cyan watched the stumbling beast man, a little surprised at the sudden throw of a fit. As Kloe cursed, Cyan bent down to help him up, pulling him firmly by his arms. Steadying the stumbly beast man, he did not forget that Kloe demanded his name. He parted his lips, preparing to say his first word in a few days.
"Cyan," he said, his voice unused and husky.
Seeing Kloe going moody and his tail limpy, Cyan decided that the weather must be affecting the er pat (or so he thought). He grabbed the beast man by his wrist, solid and free of hostility, and took him into the inn, leaving his horse with the other traveller.
The innkeeper blinked, seeing two young men --- one walking towards the counter straight and firm in military style, dragging along a drooping beast man, wrist caught by the human. The innkeeper raised his eyebrow.
"One room?"
Undisturbed, Cyan raised his hand with two fingers sticking up. 2.
The innkeeper shrugged, and handed them both a room key each.
After receiving the key, Cyan pointed towards the horses at the windows, trying to communicate a need for stables. That's when he noticed an er lot coming into the lobby.

Not prepared for Cyan dragging him inside, he cast a glance at the other human by the horses, then looked to his newfound friend. So he wasn't mute after all... Still, that one word when Cyan introduced himself; only by speaking his name. Having a name made him more within reach so to speak, and his voice sounded as kind as his smile looked.
The two of them, dripping wet from the rain, left a trail of water on the lobby's floor. For some reason, Kloe found this amusing. The fact that Cyan had broken his silence and how they weren't out pelted by the rain anymore served to improve his mood dramatically. The slightest wag moved his tail again as they stopped by the innkeeper, Cyan playing charades as usual.
He got the room key from the man, and started wringing water from his hair and fluffy ears. Only to spot the keeper arching an eyebrow at Cyan's gesture. "Um, he's wondering where the stables are." Kloe spoke calmly, running a hand through his moist hair to get the clingy bangs out of his face.
Then a thought hit him, and he gently tapped Cyan's shoulder to gethis attention. "I'm Kloen." Perhaps his introduction was a little too late to be prudent, but then again the rider wasn't much better.

His eyes opened halfway, feeling the bed move and fluctuate. He raised his hand and touched his mouth and teeth. There was caked blood places around his mout, his teeth were nearly back to normal. The creaking of the floorboards stirred his senses, hearing the door shut quietly behind. He's leaving, huh?
Groaning, Felix sat up grimacing at the considerable pain that touched resided on his back and...Well other places too. He shivered a cold draft surrounded him causing him to look down and wrap his arms around his shoulders. He blinked, curiously touching his abdomen and immediately blushed. It's been this long since I've had a lay.
Carefully getting up, he brushed off the thought he searched the room for any towels. He looked down at the bed and glanced at the sheet. "It isn't that dirty..." He said to himself absently and grabbed it, wiping himself off.
Subconsciously, the Rhasto sniffed his skin and jerked back his head back. "I smell bad." As fast as his body would let him, he dressed and placed his belt, that had his sword attached, around his hips. The stranger he met crossed his mind and he frowned. "It's better if I didn't know his name," Felix told himself, heading to the door.

Eleazar watched as the two strangers had a moment with each other,he really couldn't understand what was going on. All the talking was done by him until he heard a faint husky voice coming from the human.
"Cyan."
By instinct Eleazar replied, "I love that color!"
Then the human dragged the beast-man with him into the inn, leaving Eleazar to watch the dark horse and his own. Thinking that these two people would try to find a stable for their horse he waited outside patiently for a bit.
Through the glass windows he could make a figure of another person going into the lobby, another beast-man. He brushed his wet brown air off his face so that he could get a better look at the inside of the inn, but he was still conscious of the two large horses that he had to watch.

With a hum, Danil walked in a stride to a new innkeeper and winked. "Ya know where a man can take a bath?" He asked as he knocked on the counter.
"Down this hall, to the left." The new innkeeper said, looking bored as he flipped through a newspaper.
"Thank ya lad!" The beast man turned around to find two more people with him. A human, who was absolutely drop dead jincing sexy, and a very very cute and rapable H'ortom. He smiled to himself and strutted to the bathhouse. No way was he going to just present himself as a sweaty mess. No, we was going to get cleaned up and then he would have a little chat with both of them. Danil nearly bounced with joy at the thought of a possible threesome!

Felix took his last steps down the stairs but when he did, a tail caught his eyes. He glanced down the hall before it disappeared, they were somehow familiar. He frowned and ignored it. Near the front desk he saw a human chatting to a beast man. What...is that? Since he arrived, there has been people with ears and tails. To the others around him, it seemed normal. Are they what my people call beast men...? So...
Realization dawned the Rhasto. "I slept with one didn't I?" Felix groaned and continued to walk, there wasn't time to worry about such trivial matters. The beast man already left. Without minding the couple that was near him he walked up to the counter and slammed on the counter. "Innkeeper, where is it that I can buy a horse?"
"I don't know, don't ask me. I doubt any place is open right now anyway." The innkeeper grumbled, busy flipping through his paper.
Felix growled and snatched the paper away from the man. He used his nails and fingers to rip and crumple it. "I'm going to ask again, one last time, Old man. Where can I buy a horse?" He asked angrily.
The innkeeper panicked, stumbling out of his chair and backing against the wall. "I-I don't know! I sw-swear I'm telling the tr-truth!"
Dropping the scraps of parchment left in his hands he snorted and turned around. Useless, he thought heading outside.

The beast men reached the bathhouse that was already filled with steam from how little it was being used. He dropped his trousers and hung his towel on a rack before gingerly stepping into the hot water. There was a lot of "Ahhsssss, oww's" as he stepped further and further in. His skin felt scorched and he felt himself whine a bit.
"Ahhhh, tha's better," Danil stated as he got closer to the cool side of the bath. It was quite relaxing in here, and it was at least semi cleaned and he let a smile slide onto his face. Today was a good day, and a good lay. He grinned. Rhasto's. Kinky little hadsa's.
(Er, Hadsa is Bastard. LOL, I just made that up, srsly.)

Cyan smiled at beast name who now introduced himself as Kloen. He would've said something along the lines of nice to meet you, but knowing that it probably wouldn't come out that way, he remained silent.
After the rampaging boy left, the innkeeper calmed a little and stood up to lead them to the stables. Cyan turned to follow him out the door, meeting the other traveller up again.

To be honest, he felt conflicted. Was he going to stay in here, safe and dry, but at the same time completely uncertain? Or should he follow Cyan outside where it rained and was cold, but there was Cyan to offer some familiarity? Kloe's ears drooped again and the tail wag stopped. Eyebrows went together in the form of a frown.
Wasn't he depending on Cyan a little too much? He'd travelled for about ten years now, almost always alone. He could take care of himself... then again, out of those ten years, how much time had he actually spent in cities and towns? He'd usually just pass through. As a matter of fact, Kloe couldn't really think of one instance where he'd spent the night at an inn. He was always sleeping under the stars. Sometimes in a cave, or an abandoned shack.
Back to the now, Kloen. The h'ortom glanced to Cyan, and made his decision. Getting soaked again didn't really appeal to him at the moment... and seeing that other human again felt awkward. So he gave his newfound friend a nod and a smile, and went for the hallway with the rooms, checking his key for which number he was supposed to stay in.
It was at the very end of the hallway with the rooms. Kloe inserted the key and stopped. Something here didn't quite smell like the rest of the inn. Frowning again, he turned the key and opened the door to look inside. At first, his eyes widened in surprise. Then they narrowed in annoyance. Water dripped thickly from the roof and onto the bed, already having soaked a large circle in the mattress. And as if that wasn't enough, the excess water had formed a large, oval puddle from beneath the bed.
With a sigh, he closed and locked the door again, but left the key. Stupid inns. At a loss of what to do, he sat down on the floor next to his door, leaning against the wall and pulled his knees up so he could lean his chin on them. Wolf tail curling around to warm his feet. This wasn't so bad. He'd slept on harder floors before.

Finally after 5 painstaking minutes of waiting, Eleazar saw the human he met earlier going towards him. It was obvious, Eleazar did not like waiting, especially waiting in the rain. He saw that the man had a rather large companion now and the beast man was nowhere to be found. He then realized it was the innkeeper.
"Hello Sir!" he bowed clumsily, making the dark horse he held surprised. The black horse raised it's right forearm and grunted, making Eleazar feel quite nervous as he backed away.
He held Mindy close to him and said to the man, "Feisty horse you have here, eh?"
