The west coast of Solea, just north of the Pisce border.

Kerin leaned back on his arms, the shredded remains of a rather large fish besides him as he watched the small fire he had made settle into embers. Place was so grassy here that things he could have gotten away with being careless with back in Pisce he was more careful of. Like clearing an area wide enough around the fire before he made it and actually making sure it was cool before he left. Last thing he needed was to start a dang brush fire.
A few weeks ago he wouldn't have predicted that he'd find himself out here in this overly sunny season, his face and arms brushed with sunburn and at least a weak of travel left before he got to his aim. Used to be that he was more of a scout and trail breaker for people, but somehow he'd managed to get himself into the role of messenger and courier.
Not that he was complaining. It was definitely preferable to having to walk the whole way. In his pack were several small wrapped packages, which probably contained jewelry but he'd been warned quite a few times were cursed for any who opened them other than the elf that was intended to be the recipient.
Kerin squinted as he glanced up at the sky, figuring by the angle of the sun that it was about noon. Far as he could tell he was making pretty good time, so there wasn't really too much reason to rush on things. Thanks gods the rather overwhelming high elves from Epeta that were paying him to make this delivery didn't seem to have any misconceptions about the amount of time the travel would take.
Trust wasn't something that Kerin would have thought he'd earn just by giving a stupid package to someone unharmed, but there it was. Seemed like once he started, people were overly willing to refer him to someone else who needed a delivery, if they didn't need one themselves, and in this case he was going from elf infested city right up to another one. Traveling along the coast far as he could, then he'd follow the river up as much as possible, then head over land to Eki Nour.
The embers seemed to be ready for him to cover up, so he shifted to stand up, stretching his arms towards the sky and glancing over at the well beaten path within sight of where he was. Supposedly there was a city near here, but he hadn't seen anything but the non-living signs of it thus far. Probably a good thing; him standing out here in his seal skin he'd probably look like a lost Selkie kid to anyone who happened around and knew much about them.
