At least he was alright now, and back to normal, that much relieved Vivek to the utmost. He wasn't quite sure how he was supposed to deal with something like this, so for the moment he wasn't so much pretending it hadn't happened as... not dealing with it. Or something, he really wasn't sure. It was probably a good thing that he had five little consciences that wouldn't let him just leave it like that... but for now it was a good thing.
He was going to be having some interesting dreams tonight though. Thank gods he was a deep sleeper and didn't move at all in sleep.
Vivek was somewhat lost in thought, ignoring the three animals and generally the world at large, making sure he had his head in order. As the smaller man cleared his throat he managed to drag himself out from the depths of his mind, more or less in time to hear the question.
He blushed, not able to stop himself from doing so, mostly because he realized the water that had obviously seeped into the elf's clothing was from his soaked clothes, partially because... well... obviously the elf had to strip to be able to put his clothes somewhere. "They should be fine if you just lay them out in the sun a bit, it's risen enough to shed plenty of heat." the blonde answered a bit belatedly. He ran a hand through his hair, absentmindedly toying with the colored streaks as he added, "You should be fine changing back in the brush. Birds would have told me if there were other hominids hanging around."

Vivek seemed to be staring elsewhere for a moment, an as he did so, Ien dug into his messenger bag for a change of clothes. It took him a while to find anything through the clutter of items in there, but he managed to grab a pair of black pants. He took another look in his bag and frowned. What happened to my shirt...? The forest elf wondered. It was difficult to find his pants, for it was jammed all the way down and hiding a part of itself inside a crevice. His bag, oddly, almost had a mind if its own sometimes. Sort of scary, sometimes.
His mind couldn't help but wander back to what he had done to Vivek. He blushed a little, and tried his best to hide it from the other man, turning his head the other way slightly. He used his free hand to try his best to cover his face, but he blushed harder, feeling he heat rushing to his face so fast, he turned his body all the way around. Now, his back faced the human and he held back a shiver. It was no time to have dirty thoughts.
Ien vigorously nodded his head and ran off, sprinting towards a large random bush. When he made it to his destination he immediately fell behind the plant and slid to the soft grass that cushioned his fall. Groaning, he muttered bad words about himself then sighed. "I better get my pants on."

When his eyes landed back on the elf's face, it was impossible for Vivek to not notice his blush... Maybe for the same reason Vivek had been blushing? He didn't know, and he shut his eyes for a moment, attempting to stop the flow of warmth across his face before it got too noticable, and attempting to stop the thoughts from entering his mind that were causing it in the first place.
Damn, having a vivid imagination was usually a good thing. Right now it was just causing problems with each little thought and movement.
By the time he opened his eyes again it was to the elf rapidly running off into the underbrush. Vivek stared after him for a moment, then looked away. Even if he couldn't see the other man it probably was better to give his imagination as little fuel as was possible...
With a sigh he sat back down on the ground, rubbing a hand over his face. He jumped as Soyala landed on his knee, glancing towards her questioning look and saying "Seriously. Later. As in when he's not right there later."
"Sure you will." She said, sounding a bit doubtful.
He gave her a look, a bit more on firm ground now, "Have I ever lied to you about something like that?"
The bird shrugged her wings, just looking at him, and with a sigh he continued, "It's a leave it alone and see type thing. Not a acting like my father thing. I swear." He held her dark eyes for a moment, before the dove fluttered off of him back towards the crumbs, which both Aviv and Teal were working on now. Where Misae was he didn't know, same with Kitty... they'd be back when they were done.
Sighing, he flopped backwards onto the grass, letting one hand block the sun from his eyes as he relaxed, just letting the warmth of the light flicker across him. It was going to be a warm day, usually that would mean he just ditched the vest and went around in only his pants... but considering the day thus far that maybe wouldn't be the best idea. He could just be uncomfortable for a little bit.

When Ien had finally managed to get his trousers on, not without some difficulty, he just lied on the cool grass. His pants felt kind of tight and he wondered if he was getting fatter. He took a quick look at his legs and waist before letting his head fall back. All he had been doing was traveling and eating bites of his crackers; or whatever he had in his bag or found seemingly edible. The forest elf was shirtless and wondered if it was smart to go back there like that. Frowning, he had no other choice but to. It wasn't as if he didn't want to, he felt as if it would be awkward between the two of them. Then that would lead into a weird silence.
He didn't particularly like those, even though he was usually quiet around other people he didn't know. Vivek was a bit different, but he still had to be cautious. Assuming the other man was human, Ien figured humans weren't exactly trustable. Not many creatures were...It was -...
His thoughts stopped there, not wanting anything from his past interrupt his peace of mind. He was reminded that he was spacing out when the tips of the grass tickled his sides. Ien strightened, getting into a sitting position. Legs crossed and head hanging to one said, he stared at his hand - as it was the first thing his eyes landed on. For a few moments, he pondered about random thoughts that passed his subconsciousness. However, he was able to quickly pull away from that and get up.
The elf took a deep breath before stepping out from behind the bush, walking towards Vivek.

Before Ien had come back, Vivek had managed to relax, mostly because of the sun beginning to beat down on his body as it slowly climbed higher in the sky. Really he felt rather catlike and lazy; it was comfortable to just lie there, even with his vest on... He tugged on it, rather annoyed at the fabric (though he doubted he would be as bothered if he didn't keep thinking about it) and after a moment he unbuttoned it, leaving the fabric lying about as it had when the pieces were attached together. That could be a compromise, he'd wear the darn thing, just loosely. That way it could cover him and hopefully not drive him crazy once the sun got really warm.
Apparently Aviv agreed, since it hadn't taken long for the tiny bird to bound over in little flutters, bouncing all over the man before finally nestling down in a little poof at the base of Vivek's neck, despite warnings that in that position the bird would be awoken every time Vivek talked. The blonde didn't doubt that it looked rather odd with the little rainbow poof there too, though he wasn't about to shoo the tiny thing away.
He stretched his arms out above his head, managing to avoid a yawn as he let them lie there and closed his eyes to the sunlight, though the sun still was nowhere near enough to actually hurt his eyesight did he look up. They'd had an extremely early morning, early enough that he didn't feel lazy for taking some time to just bask in the warmth for a bit.
Aviv squeaked something unintelligible, and a moment later Vivek's ears were able to catch the sounds of soft footsteps on the ground, his eyes flickered open and he turned his head slightly, managing to keep his eyes trained up on Ien's face and not... yeah. Well at least Vivek was more used to shirtless than with shirts, or else this would probably be embarrassing. Still wouldn't be the best idea to ditch his own, annoying as keeping it on was, as he doubted Ien had the same exposure to that state of dress.
"Sun's warm already." He said, a lazy smile flickering across his face, "It's going to be a rather hot day, should dry your clothes out nicely though."

Halfheartedly, Ien smiled back, sitting down beside Vivek. Looking over at him, he noticed that the tiny bird he had been feeding earlier was resting on the human's neck. He emitted a boyish giggle and this time a genuine smile stretch across his face. It seemed quite comfortable like that; just a small fluff of multi-colored feathers collected at the base of Vivek's neck.
Carefully, he continued to watch his companion lie there and bathe in the ray of the sun, making sure not to alert him. It didn't seem as if he was bothered by his presence or the way he was dressed. He frowned and looked at his feet, having had taken off his boots on his way here. For some reason, Ien couldn't help but feel sort of...disappointed. He had wanted some kind of reaction. Maybe even a flustered expression.
Biting onto his bottom lip, he quickly banished away that thought and focused his gaze back onto Vivek. He tilted his head to one side, confused. For some reason, the other man seemed...irritated. He scrutinized the way he was dressed and grinded his teeth lightly, in thought. Staying in wet clothing was rather bothersome, unless the sun was able to dry it off quickly and one wasn't as soaked.
His clothes?
Ien wasn't exactly one-hundred percent sure. It might be his presence that bothered his new friend. He opened his mouth. Figuring that it was better if he piped up, without a second thought: "Are you okay? You don't look comfortable..."

Vivek managed to keep most of the smile from his face at the sound of the giggle, figuring it was probably because of Aviv... Maybe having the bird in such a silly place wasn't a bad thing after all. Sure, it looked rather odd, but odd wasn't as easy to be afraid of, and the little bird tended to take everything he did into the realm of cute. Cute wasn't so bad.
He felt rather catlike, stretched out there, eyes mostly closed as he simply let the warm sun wash over him. That Ien was watching him... well he knew. He wasn't sure if the other knew that Vivek was aware of it though, and he wasn't going to call attention to it. Actually he was fairly sure that he didn't want to really think about it, since thinking about Ien staring at him would definitely lead to other thoughts and at the moment that wasn't somewhere he thought he should let his mind go. Being responsible and all of that, even in his own mind. Hell, he'd met enough empaths and telepaths taking refuge at the enclaves to know that within a mind wasn't necessarily private, and nor did it necessarily stay where it was supposed to.
His eyes flickered open at Ien's question, and he twisted his head again to look at the elf, confusion showing on his face for a moment. He'd actually been rather comfortable there in the sun except... Vivek couldn't keep himself from blushing slightly as he realized that the elf had noticed his problem with his clothes. Though he supposed it would make sense for an elf to be an observant one.
"Oh I'm fine..." He answered, reaching a hand up to flick some of his hair away from his eyes, "I just usually ditch my vest once it starts to get warmer out. Not something I can't deal with though."
