Kasumi stammered through the snow as the ice was trickling around her hair. The air had a slight chill to it for kasumi, but to humans they could of frozen to death if they ever touched the small flacks of ice and the chilling air. After starting her journey to Keeno nothing seemed to get in her way. Kasumi still had gotten some beef jerky when she stopped in the town before. Still enough to chew on when mouth starts to drench in salvia for a meal of rare meat or frozen. Bits of smoke was coming off from a distance in the sky. Little bits of gray hardily eye catching to tell someone was there. Still enough kasumi walked closer to go to the town hoping in the snow and couldn't wait to get there and eat.
Couple of miles near the coast and some voices could be heard. However, the hard noise of the iced snow barely let anyone walk through without warning a person that someone is near from far away for a beastman, but not really a human. Barely an interest, Kasumi walked on toward the city that was soon close...not that soon, though. A Murderous aura seems to come from the area with the noise. More interested, Kasumi walked towards the noise. Maybe they can tell me if the pests from these posters are there anymore. I don't want to leave the city empty handed. I'll just take a look, but not get too close.

Eilie blinked as the other girl ran past her an launched herself at the penguins. Opening and closing her mouth a few times, she decided to stay quiet and sit still instead of saying anything. The Rempa sat back and watched the Selkie wrestle what looked to be the missing object from the flightless birds.
The next thing Eileanora knew, she had the girl attached to her neck and wailing in her ear. She could have sworn her ear was still ringing slightly when the Selkie girl ran to throw herself on the taller man as well.
The sudden wave of emotion caught up to the tiger as she tried to hide an abnormally large grin from appearing on her face. Then the urge to gut the closest thing with her teeth hit her like a tsunami. Distaste filled her mind, fighting with the happiness and glee and annoyance and-
She. Was. Going. INSANE.
Eilie stood abruptly, quickly fiddling with an excuse to leave and get a break from the contrast of emotions. Besides, she had fish to catch... "A-ahm... You guys go and head to town," her head was bowed slightly as she continued, "I-I have t-to go get fi-fish for Jet. I-...I can't fish, but I-uhm... I-I... yeah." She tried to blink to clear her mind, but it didn't work. Figures. The Rempa let out a forceful sigh and turned, starting towards the shore.
Maybe she'd see them later in town. Hopefully apart, so that she wouldn't turn into a bipolar, chaotic wreck. Eileanora had already gotten around ten feet away when she could see someone else approaching, her ears perking up in response. The emotions that had been swimming in her head had ceased, or at least dimmed, and was subbed with curiosity. By now the Rempa had stopped speed-walking as well, blinking peculiarly.

"Sorry," I said sniffling, but letting go of Ohanzee. I wiped my tears away quickly with a smile. "Can I take a quick swim first? Please?" I asked tugging on my sealskin over my clothes. It was tight, and slightly uncomfortable. And normally I would stripped before putting it on, but there was no way I was going to strip stark naked in front of the present company.
"Wait!" I called hopping after Eilie. "Wait! I can help you fish! I'm good at catching fish!" I fell over as I hopped after the girl. But that was to be expected considering I'd pulled my sealskin up around my waist. "You don't mind waiting, do you Ohanzee?" I asked sweetly. "I'll only be a minute. I swear." I pulled the rest of the sealskin on, and with only a bark in the direction of the other two, I headed into the ocean.
I felt so at home in the water and swam around in a circle, then bolted off after a school of fish. Eileanora said she needed fish. I hoped she didn't care what kind as I flung a couple of fish onto the beach. Then I dove back into the water to find more fish!

Ohanzee let himself fall into his haze, the slow smile spreading as far across his chilled face as it could. He pulled his cloak closer and huffed lightly. He could let the women go around finding fish. He walked down towards the beach, scanning the area around the fishing persons. He shivered lightly and his ears twitched.
Something was not right.
He sniffed the air lightly and turned about, looking inland and scanning the low brush. Something was out there. He walked a little closer to the Rempa, letting out a soft hiss.
"Hunter..." he whispered, "we hath company in the brush." His eyes were devoid of emotion as he flicked backwards and forwards across the bleak and bland frontier around the shore. He motioned to the swimming Faye. "Keep thine eyes on thy friend Hunter. I shall keep mine inland."

Kasumi walked closer to the dots that soon appeared in her view. they seem to be on there guard. Hesitant. Knowing that the snow would cloud her movement, and the people couldn't see her due to the snow Kasumi put her cloak over her waist, letting the nice cold air hit her skin, and hair. HEr head probable invisible from far away. Still walking, coming closer now, Kasumi heard some splashes and loud thumps of some sort of meat, but could hardly see. Finally, couple feet from the people that turned out to be a Er pri, a rempa, and a selkie. A really odd pair. However the er pri was staring at her and the rempa was staring towards the coast. The selkie was in the ocean flopping some fish on to sure. Kasumi drooled but knew when the fish were not hers so she pulled herself not to lunge towards the food. The Er pri was glaring at her direction. Kasumi twitch at the glare. Reluctantly, she lifted her hand from one of her sword, and raised it in a hello gesture to the people. Not to blow her cover.

Eilie turned back from their new... gest.. as the selkie barked and dove into the water. So that's what a seal skin did? Interesting creatures indeed... The Rempa shifted on her feet, half staring at the fish flopping on the shore and smiling sheepishly at them.
She was searching for the seal in the water when the Er Pri, whom she noted the selkie had called Ohanzee, spoke in a hushed voice.
"The name's Eileanora." she mumbled in a peeved, monotoned, sing-song-ish voice; but nodded nonetheless anyways. "I saw."
Her ears twitched and she glanced over her shoulder despite the Er Pri's caution / warning / command, mostly because Ohanzee's caution had seeped into her skin as well, just in time to see someone attempt an innocent wave. The Rempa's eyes flickered to the sword at her side, lingering for a moment before turning back to the selkie as she was told.
"She seems innocent... But I feel she's hiding something..." Eilie commented under her breath to the Er Pri, looking down to the fish on the ground in front of her. She crouched down by a few of them and pulled out a string from one of her pockets, taking her time in tying them together to make a decent sized bundle and leaving a few out for the selkie and possibly Ohanzee as well.

Kasumi got bored of standing there listening to the Rempa mumble on how she looks suspicious and how she seems innocent, which didn't bother her at all. It always happened during the time she was sent to the military camp. everyone was standing away from her due to the fact she was a beastman, and also the first time she fought with one of the commanders when he annoyed her with his yelling and put the latches on her. After that no one came near her unless they were with someone that knew some magic.
Fish were piling up and kasumi grew restless. Finally KAsumi opened her pocket and took out a piece of meat, biting into it. Still Kasumi's stomached growled. Letting a sigh out Kasumi never looked away at the eyes that were anticipating her for any action. However, she caught a glimpse of the rempa turning her head as Kasumi waved.
Everything seemed boring and too silent. The er pri seemed pissed and agitated, the only one seeming to have fun was the selkie, who was tossing fish out of the water, and the rempa could be curious, but who knows that. Kasumi looked around once again and put her hands on her swords..
AND sat down with her elbows relaxing on her knees felling the nice air, and snow that was hitting her limbs and head that weren't covered by her long and baggy t shirt and knee short pants. Although, it was nice Kasumi grew fidgety, flexing her fingers after some seconds had passed and then started to crack her neck and fingers. Quiet was boring and not really fun. However, the rempa seemed to make a bundle of string for something. Kasumi sat there waiting to see what they have to say. Making sure that there distance isn't disturbed by the person who is sitting and now staring at them. Who came out of nowhere. Still sitting Kasumi sat there and bit into her piece of meat. Waiting for the slight tension to settle down.

"Trust the hunter and her senses to see the shadows of doubt," Ohanzee murmured to the Rempa, his eyes flashing along the scrub again. "Methinks the hunter has senses far more attuned than eyes and ears." He looked at her out of the corner of his eye before twisting back inland. He shook lightly.
It was entirely too cold in this region. It was interfering with his senses. He twitched involuntarily and squared his shoulders again. The flopping of the fish and barking of the Selkie continued. He grunted.
"Tell thine friend to stand upon land," Ohanzee murmured to the Rempa. "This one feels eyes upon our beings and catch." Ohanzee pulled out a blade and clipped it into his wire. "And this one does not like that feeling."

I swam around catching fish and flinging them on the shore. It was like a game; who was faster, me or the fish? And I get to win!
When I felt like I'd thrown enough fish up to the Rempa I swam a few laps, but my sealskin was a bit uncomfortable and I wanted to get it off. As I swam toward the beach I saw something white and furry with claws swat at my face. I looked and found myself face to face with...oh may the gods help me...a polar bear!!
I suddenly flashed back to when I was about five years old living in the ice caverns. Momma had told me to stay where I was while she went out hunting. While she was gone a polar had come and I was nearly eaten.
The polar bear slashed at my flipper and the pain snapped me back to reality. I bolted for the shore trying to keep away from the polar bear as best as I could. Finally reaching the shore I began to flounder up the beach while at the same time pulling off the sealskin with my good arm. The polar bear was getting closer and I pulled my sealskin off and pulled my dagger out of my sash to defend myself.
I was so caught up in my struggle that I didn't even notice the other girl sitting on the beach.

Kasumi still sat there staring at the Er pri, and the rempa that were seemingly mumbling with each other and a piece of metal that the er pri put on a wire. Although hungry and bored, Kasumi bit into her piece jerky she just finished and was about to grab another piece when the Selkie came near the water abruptly trying to get away from a white mass, that turned out to be a polar bear. Kasumi grinned, showing all her teeth and gums. Finally something interesting, and something that i might get to eat. Kasumi stood up with her metal swords clicking against her sides, eyes shrunk. and ran passed the rempa, and er pri, before they could turn there eyes, lunged at the polar bear. The polar bear moaned at the pain being received. Hanging in the air, Kasumi not even paying attention to the people behind her.

Eileanora's ears twitched as they picked up the movements of the H'ortom behind her. She took a glance back, still somewhat cautious of her presence. The Rempa blinked a few times before turning back to the fish. She stared curiously at the Er Pri when he spoke to her, the different sentence formation making her take a second to think about what he was trying to get across. ...Not to mention he was talking in third person..
When she did, however, her brows scrunched at him. Her tail swiveled in anticipation as she opened her mouth to respond when Ohanzee kept talking but the splashing towards the shore caught her attention. She turned her head just in time to see the wolf attack the bear.
Eilie's eyes flashed from the H'ortom to the bear and to the Selkie girl with her sealskin sloppily tugged off. On instinct, the tiger roared loudly and bared her teeth menacingly. The bear barely registered her presence though, either too busy with the new girl or too focused on the Selkie. Eileanora's mind finally caught up to her as she snapped back from just kneeling there growling and showing off her fangs.
Dropping the bundle of fish, she placed her hands on the frozen shore, focusing her mind on the water behind and at the feet of the bear. A wall of water just under six feet pulled up between the Selkie and bear, making soft cracking noises as it started to freeze in place.
"Get out of there." she called, figuring that there wasn't too much of a need to shout when the Selkie was only so far away. Besides, the wall of soon-to-be ice wasn't thick enough to protect her if the bear decided to just ignore the wolf.

Ohanzee very nearly sent his blade running through the body of the H'ortom when it came dashing towards the group. Nearly because the roar of a polar bear startled him. It was very unprofessional for him to be caught unawares.
The Selkie was crawling up the beach, holding onto a wound. The H'ortom was tangling with the bear. And the hunter. Well...the hunter was being odd. Ohanzee actually paused and watched as the Rempa slowly began freezing a wall of water. His ear twitched.
This might be useful.
He charged towards the wall and jumped. He dashed up the back of the Rempa, stepping lightly and leaping over the wall. The blade afixed to the wire flashed as he twisted in mid air, sending the blade slamming into the shoulder of the bear. He landed and tightened his hold on the wire. It would take time for his soul steal to gather the strength you shatter a full polar bear.
"Hold it wolf!" Ohanzee yelled, his eyes showing a slow purple spiral beginning to build. He hoped they could survive.

I watched amazed as a girl (another beastman of course) attacked the polar bear, and then a wall formed infront of me. I stared as Ohanzee cleared the wall.
Putting my dagger between my teeth like a pirate I crawled farther away from the fray. When I was about five or six feet away from the wall I sat down. I looked back at my path and frowned. Red drops of blood littered the snow. I looked down at my arm. There were three slashes across it and it was bleeding all over the place.
I bent down and began to rip a strip of fabric from my dress. I cut off a strip and began wrapping it around my arm. I tried to tie it off but I could quite manage. I looked over at the others to get some help, but they were all involved, so I decided against it. I sat and watched what would become of the polar bear.

Kasumi struggled as the bear came with his weight on top of her. exhaling a horrid odor that Kasumi thought she was going to die. "what did this bear eat? Eggs! A wall between the bear came up and the er pri jumped on it and some acrobatics or some jumps. Sending a metal object into the shoulder of the bear,it lurked backward. Kasumi took the opportunity and bit into the bear. He hardly took a toll on the bear. His fur was really thick and hard to get through so only a small amounts of blood dripped. The bear annoyed with the wolf, took his arm back and slashed deep into her upper part of her arm. Ow muttered Kasumi grabbing her shoulder as the blood began to drip on her clothes. Aw man, not again. However this fight turned into a boring game until the er pri yelled " Hold it wolf." His eye darted toward a purple spiral. Kasumi grabbed it and yelled towards the Er pri. "What do i do with this?"

"Slam it into his neck!" Ohanzee yelled. It was taking all his energy and concentration to keep from frying the H'ortom and absorbing the creature's soul. The spiral from his wrist was flashing violet and black. Whatever amount of energy he had built would have to do. Any more and the wolf would be sacrificed.
He fell backwards, crouching in the snow and using the ground as a brace. He was delving too deep into the shadows.
"Quickly wolf," Ohanzee growled, his eyes flashing nearly black, "or it will be thine soul that evaporates this day!"

Kasumi took in the words of the Er pri and sprinted toward the bear. Hand in front holding the spiral. It sending backlashes around her arm, and front of her body. Making small cuts enough to make it bleed. The bear stared at the shiny round object in aww, not taken aware of it's final moments. Finally Kasumi reached the bears neck and...
Wooooosh!! Black air ran away from the moment of impact. Everything soon absorbed by the energy emitted from the little spiral. The air hit Kasumi toward the ice wall. Flying backwards Kasumi felt pain in her back and head. too blurry to notice what happened to the bear, Kasumi put her hand on her head and felt a warm substance. Blood. Aw..Nyosik

Eileanora stared at the Er Pri as he leaped over the now iced over wall and shot something into the bear, shouting to the wolf to keep her ground. Her ears were at full attention, ready to go and help if need be, but would have liked to stay on the safe side.. Sure, she was a hunter than could take down a bunch of Penguins, fish (if she really felt like it), and maybe a small seal (no offense to the Selkie, of course) or new-born bear. But a polar bear? Eilie shuddered at the thought, turning to the Selkie who had just dragged herself out of the fight.
"Are you allright?" she called, motioning her over with a light jerk of her head. Wait... Eileanora could now see that the Selkie was bleeding. ...Stupid question. It didn't look like an extremely deadly wound though.. She frowned slightly and glanced back at Ohanzee and the wolf.
But... just to offer a little more back up to the H'ortom and Er Pri, the tiger took her focus away from the wall of ice and on the water near the polar bear's hind legs. With a little tug back, water rose up the shore and froze the large predator's hind legs to the ground. Not that they really needed to be held down- the H'ortom was already charging at it with whatever Ohanzee had shot previous. Eilie winced as the energy bit was rammed into the bear, sending the wolf back into the wall of ice that she'd conjured up just moments ago.
...Trijilk. That was one for the books...
Assuming the bear was done in and finished, she took her hands off the frozen shore and ran over to the Selkie; and figuring that since the Er Pri was closer, he could help her out if need be. It looked like she hit the wall pretty hard too.. The tiger slid in next to the Selkie on her knees and quickly scanned her arm up and down. Frowning again lightly, she pulled a semi-large curved piece of ice together so that the Selkie could hold it over her wound if she wanted.
"If... if it stings, this might help it a little before you wrap it up." she mumbled shyly, offering the ice and pouting slightly.

I sat on the beach unable to unglue my eyes from the scene before me. I looked around vaguely as the Rempa called over to me, asking if I was alright. I nodded. "Just a scratch," I murmured softly. So softly that I'm sure she never heard me.
On the outside I appeared calm, which truely was a godsend because on the inside I was freaking out! Thoughts and flashbacks ran through my head and jumbled into one until I saw a wolf being ripped apart by a polar bear, blood spilling onto the white snow, sinking slowly into the sand. I shook my head to rid myself of these racing thoughts and flashbacks.
I kept thinking to myself that a selkie who is a nervous wreck or loses their head is a dead selkie for sure. How many selkies had I seen lose theirs heads when in danger? How many anguished screams had I heard from a distance and the sound of flesh tearing? Enough to learn my lesson.
My eyes widened with suprise and horror when the girl was thrown into the ice wall. As Eilie came over to see if I was alright I was more caught up in seeing if the other girl was going to be okay. She'd hit the wall hard.
"I'm okay," I replied to the Rempa. "It's just a scratch." I looked at Eilie. "We need to see if the girl's okay. She hit that wall hard."
And without further ado I pushed myself up and ran toward the wall.

Ohanzee groaned as he stood. Steam was rising from his hand where the coil had been connected. The spool of wire had been evaporated. The knife that had been attached was gone. Blood was seeping from his arm. He shivered.
That was too much power.
He stumbled towards the bear, or what was left of it. Charred fur and smoked flesh and lots of blood. That was about it. He leaned down and plucked a large metallic fragment from the wreckage of flesh. The shard flashed violet and pulsed with a bit of feral energy. A perfectly fragment soul. He stood up, shard in hand, and slowly stumbled towards the others.
"Is she alive?" he asked blankly.

Kasumi sat there trying to transfix her vision which was a blur. However she felt the presence of the three people that were coming toward her. The Er Pri , and selkie had the scent of blood on the, the polar bear was a heap of vaporized meat, and the rempa was probably ok. Apparently, it turned out kasumi look dead. To no one's suprise, which would only be me, the one that's not surprised. The spiral was surging a wallop of energy so the outburst was probably...really strong. Kasumi heard "Is she alive" from maybe... the Er pri due to the low voice. trying to get up Kasumi by using the wall The some of excess energy of the spiral went into her latches which made some bolts go around her arm and inside.
Kasumi lurched away the people, and coughed. spatting blood on the ground. Kaumi thought aw great, whats next a flying monkey hitting me in the head? Darn commander, why did he have to put these on me. Oh ya...I rememer now. Kasumi stared to grin at the memory of hitting the commander in a one-two combination, which made the others bamboozled and at the excitement she felt in the battle other than the wounds, it was pretty much...
fun. Started to laugh but was stopped another cough of blood. Trying to find her first aid stuff for her arm, Kasumi realized she had no First aid stuff, as it was probably evaporated at the time of the outburst. Her eyes still blurry she turned toward the others as they were still coming, her hand on the wall. The latches still possessing the energy from before sent another surge. Kasumi lurched forward, her hand digging into the wall. Almost puncturing it, right hand over her mouth, blood seeping through her fingers. Aw man
