Race: Spirit Kings
Origin: All throughout Cantana
Culture: Spirit kings are divided into three kinds: Wood, Water and Earth. They live singly in their birthplace, guarding their territories and may never leave until they die. Two spirit kings of the same kind in the same area may end up with a rather nasty quarrel. Depending on their personalities, their attitudes towards residents and visitors of their territories may differ.
Distinguishing Features: Trabas are great trees that may unroot and walk the earth; Fonis are water that may hover and change their shape; Humas are lumps of earth emerging out of the ground in the obscure shape of a living humanoid, or sometimes just heads or arms. They usually stay hidden if nothing urges them to take form.
Life Span: Spirit kings may live until their strength weakens or face death, absorbed or replaced by another spirit king of the same type over a territorial dispute.
Typical Strengths & Weaknesses: Spirit kings usually do not care for their visitors. But if they do, they have the absolute advantage of camouflage in their territories and are capable of magics related to their nature. They can be weak against other magics. While they cannot perform physical attacks, they are usually unharmed by them due to their spiritual nature.

Race: Devilsbride
Origin: Human Settlements
Culture: Devilsbrides are very rare beings that emerge at random in human populations. They were humans, their bodies infiltrated by a malign energy traditionally called called the 'devil'. The human then becomes a host/womb, resulting in a baby devil dwelling in the human's flesh. After the host dies, the young devil takes over the dead body.
Distinguishing Features: Human features, violet hair, ruby eyes with snake-like pupils, features of the baby devil or other deformities occasionally surfacing upon their tan skin.
Life Span: Same as humans, unless the baby devil grows at an abnormally rapid rate that eats upon the host.
Typical Strengths & Weaknesses: Aside from their original human abilities, Devilsbrides may wield exceptionally strong anima powers (mainly psychokinesis) at the cost of their physical wellbeing. Their vulnerability to light magic makes an addition to their weaknesses.
Additional Facts: Due to the baby devils, most devilsbrides have a tendency to suffer from mental problems of all magnitudes across the spectrum.
